As part of its periodic reassessment of mandates on local government, the Department of Education is currently soliciting comments on three mandates: school staffing ratios for certain instructional and support staff, Standards of Accreditation requirements, and reporting on broadband connectivity in schools. Comments are due to Rebecca Askew, Senior Policy Analyst at the Department of Education, by August 31, 2018, and may be provided using the Commission on Local Government’s Locality Fiscal Impact Comments Form. Comments should be emailed to Ms. Askew at firstname.lastname@example.org.
