The 2026 VACo Virginia Certified County Supervisors’ Program began on January 23 with the Budgeting module led by Hanover County Deputy Administrator Jay Brown (photo above at podium). The 3-course program spans one year, and we’re excited at the amount of students in the Class of 2026!
VACo President Victor Angry (photo below at podium) shared some words of encouragement to the Class of 2026. Angry is a Class of 2023 graduate.

Open to all county supervisors, this exciting course comprises an opening class session, virtual cohort meetings, and a closing class session. As one of the three courses within VACo’s Virginia Certified County Supervisors’ Program, this course tackles the tough topic of county budgeting led by Class Manager Jay Brown.
