The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) seeks your input to identify future funding needs for point source WQIF eligible projects in the Commonwealth. The DEQ has prepared a survey to solicit your input. To aid in completion of the survey, attached is the WQIF guidance memo #06-2012 amendment #1, #06-2012 amendment #1 addendum #1, as well as the survey text so that you may gather the necessary project information prior to survey completion. Please open the survey link only once you are prepared with the project information.
This survey intends to capture an estimate of the WQIF funding needed for significant and eligible non-significant dischargers to meet their existing discharge permit limits or waste load allocation. Here’s is a letter from DEQ Director, Mike Rolband, with additional details regarding the importance of this survey.
