VACo is working with the Executive Mansion for the second year in a row to decorate the Mansion’s Holiday Tree.
We thank each of you for working within your communities to make this happen. We have received many of the ornaments and are taking photos and writing descriptions of each. In early December, we will release a webpage to feature all of the submissions and to showcase the artist/artisan.
The 2016 ornaments will be on display at the Executive Mansion on December 1 immediately following the Capitol Tree Lighting, which begins at 5:30 p.m. More information on tour hours, parking, and other specifics can be found on The Executive Mansion website.
In 2015, we received 62 ornaments, which were photographed and posted on our website. These ornaments will be on display in VACo’s lobby. If you’re interested in stopping by to see last year’s ornaments, feel free to reach out to us at 804.788.6652.
