The VACo 82nd Annual Conference Registration form was released on August 15, and many counties are taking advantage of the Early Bird Registration Rate. Through September 30, VACo members can register for $225. Register early and save big!
Make sure to look at the VACo Conference Preliminary Agenda to schedule your time at the conference. There are several additional events during the conference. The VACo Annual Golf Tournament is Saturday, November 12, and we want to thank our sponsors United Healthcare, Stewart, and Milestone Communications. We appreciate your support! The VACo Annual Banquet is Sunday, November 13. When registering, remember to include the banquet if you plan to attend. Tickets are $75 for those not staying at The Omni Homestead. If you are staying at The Omni Homestead the cost of the meal is included in your room rate. Also on Sunday morning, November 13, we have scheduled the Non-Denominational Worship Service.
County Administrators and Managers are invited to register for the VLGMA Networking Luncheon on Monday, November 14. Kathleen Guzi, Public Entity Specialist with VACORP, will be the guest speaker. Whether you attend the VLGMA Networking Luncheon or enjoy the bagged lunch in the exhibit hall sponsored by SunTrust, consider participating in after-lunch Walk and Talk. Walk and Talk participants join at the registration desk and walk around the grounds to get in a little exercise and talk about whatever the group wants to discuss.
