The federal government's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Web site is an important resource. It is regularly updated with new and timely information. The site includes a link to federal agencies administering programs and funding.

Stimulus.virginia.gov is Gov. Kaine's ARRA Web portal.

The National Association of Counties page on the federal stimulus package.

Grants.gov is the U.S. government’s centralized source to identify and apply for federal government grants. The site includes a dedicated link for ARRA grant announcements: Recovery Act and Grants.gov.

The Federal Registerincludes timely and helpful announcements about programs and funding opportunities. The site offers several search engines.

Virginia’s House Appropriations Committee staff recently presented an excellent summary of the Act.

Congressional ARRA Guidebook: NACo has posted this 36-page document that outlines funds available through the ARRA. The document was prepared by House leaders for members of Congress to use in their districts and includes key program links and contact information.
