The Homestead room reservation request form was released by e-mail on Tuesday, June 15th, to all confirmed exhibitors, county administrators and board of supervisors members.

EXHIBITING AT THE 2010 VACo ANNUAL CONFERENCE

2010 exhibitor applications were included in the conference tote bags at the Nov. '09 conference and mailed out again in late November 2009.

  • 2009 exhibitors have from immediately after the conference in November until March 1, 2010, to renew their current location.  After March 1, all unreserved booths are reassigned and offered to other interested vendors.

  • Lodging at The Homestead - In mid-June 2010, VACo will send a notification e-mail to all confirmed exhibitors that the room reservation form is available. Reservations cannot be made prior to the June 15 release date. If you are a confirmed vendor and have not received your lodging request form, please send a note to: ccameron@vaco.org.

Alternative Lodging 2010 - List of Bed & Breakfasts, local motels, etc. These fill up fast so make your reservations as soon as possible.

CONFERENCE AGENDA: The details of the 2010 Agenda [conference program] are still being hammered out. VACo expects to have a program available by September 15. For your planning purposes, the conference will follow basically the same schedule as in years past. The preliminary schedule is shown in the 2010 Conference Registration.

RAFFLE ITEMS
VACo encourages exhibitors to donate items to the VACo raffle, which is held at the end of the VACo business meeting on Tuesday. A mini-raffle, made up of a portion of the donated items, is held Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the exhibit hall. Raffle winners are determined by drawing names from the completed Bingo cards. The "big raffle" is held Tuesday after the business meeting and immediately prior to adjournment. Vendors should make sure a business card or some other form of identification is attached to the donated item to ensure proper recognition during the drawings.

FISH BOWL DRAWINGS
Vendors may conduct their own separate "fish bowl" drawings if they wish but it is the vendor’s responsibility to post the winners’ names on the bulletin board (located by the VACo Registration Desk). Exhibitors are responsible for notifying winners & delivering fish bowl drawing prizes.
