Carol joined the VACo team in October 2006 as an administrative assistant and was promoted to VACo’s Director of Member Services. She is the database administrator for membership and event registrations. She oversees and recruits new members for the VACo Associate Members program. Carol coordinates all aspects of the exhibit hall, as well as selling sponsorships, designing the logo, designing the conference bag art and other duties for the VACo Annual Conference, working closely with VACo and the Homestead staff.
Carol’s background includes more than 25 years of experience in local government including Warren County (Virginia) School Board Office; the City of Manassas [Planning & Zoning Department]; and Frederick County, Virginia [Planning & Zoning; County Administrator’s Office]. She served for five years as secretary for the Community-Church Action Project (C-CAP) in Warren County, and the Board of Zoning Appeals in Frederick County.
