More than 200 local government leaders attended the 2026 VACo County Officials’ Summit on August 13 in Richmond. The agenda featured Governor Abigail Spanberger and six members of her cabinet as well as a Sorensen Institute panel discussion on civility.
The message was clear from the Governor and her cabinet members – the administration stands ready to work with local governments. VACo thanks the Governor for her encouraging remarks and looks forward to working with the administration.
