Be our Guest at an exciting leadership session.
Now is the time to enhance your leadership skills. Take this opportunity to get a sample of the Virginia Certified County Supervisors’ program by being our guest at the first Alumni Education Program. Join the graduates and current enrollees of this premier leadership program designed especially for County Supervisors.
In the 10 years since its inception, the VACo Certified County Supervisors Program has seen over 50 supervisors from 32 counties complete the required course work necessary to qualify for certification. The Virginia Certified County Supervisors Program features a five course curriculum that includes topics such as Leadership, Budgeting and Community Planning.
In addition, the program includes class instruction, assigned reading and dialogue and exchange of ideas among classmates.
Please submit the registration form if you will be attending the seminar. There is no fee to attend but your registration will help us plan for your attendance.
This event, which will be in conjunction with the start of the 2015 VACo Annual Conference, will consist of a session on civility.

3:15 – 3:30 p.m. What is civility? What issues do we face as Board of Supervisor members?

4 – 4:30 p.m. Group Discussion based on presentation and handouts
4:30 – 5 p.m. Groups share their findings
5:15 p.m. Adjourn
