In response to the continued growth of their business GovDeals is looking for a Client Service Representative to serve the states of Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. GovDeals is seeking a service-oriented self starter to provide training and support to clients of their nation-wide internet based government online auction service. The candidate must live in the Charlottesville, Virginia area or an area that would facilitate travel to all clients and be willing to travel 60% of the time. The successful candidate will be assigned an existing client base of 80 existing clients with the potential of adding many more additional clients.
Responsibilities
· Provide onsite, telephone, email and Internet training and support to clients in the Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia territories
· Regularly follow up with existing clients to encourage additional asset postings
· Represent GovDeals to the government and public sector in a positive manner
Qualifications
· 4+ years of hands-on technical account management/customer service experience
· Excellent written/verbal communication skills
· Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, email and Internet usage.
· Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
· Candidate must have home access to high speed internet service and AT&T cellular phone service
· Associates degree and prior experience with government agencies preferred

The candidate will serve under the general direction of the City Manager and is responsible for performing complex professional and administrative work coordinating and supervising operations of a water treatment, wastewater collection, and water distribution system.
